Course Description

In this course, you will discover the LogicMonitor REST Application Programming Interface (API) functionality and configuration. Like most modern web applications, LM Envision employs both a user interface (UI) and an application programming interface (API). The API allows programmatic or scripted access to data and actions in LogicMonitor.  The API allows access to LM Envision bypassing the user interface, meaning that repetitive, time-consuming tasks can be automated for efficiency and to ensure consistency.

  • Basic understanding of RESTful services
  • Some prior programming experience in any modern programming language; such as, Java, Node JS or Groovy. 
  • Familiarity with LM Envision platform architecture
